Sadly John Cabot was never seen again after he left for his second jouney in 1499 across the Atlantic Ocean as he and four of his ships were lost at sea. One of John Cabot's major accomplishments was finding routes to new lands such as Newfoundland in Canada. One interesting thing about my explorer was that he was a skilled navigator. This helped him to make the remarkable discoveries that he made.
